WAVEONE GOLD is the new generation of alternating or reciprocating files developed by Dentsply Maillefer in collaboration with four endodontic opinion leaders. WAVEONE GOLD maintains the same simplicity philosophy as the first-generation WAVEONE, introduced in 2011, but with significant additional benefits that increase dentists' confidence.

With WAVEONE GOLD, the majority (approximately 80%) of all clinical cases can be treated with a single file (the Primary file) for root canal shaping. Both the expanded file range (Small, Primary, Medium, and Large) and the GOLD technology allow for the treatment of a greater variety of root canal morphologies.

Safety has also been significantly enhanced thanks to the GOLD technology, which has strengthened resistance to cyclic or metal fatigue. Finally, the WAVEONE GOLD design has been optimized to reduce shaping time compared to WAVEONE and other standard rotary NiTi systems.

A complete solution:

The WAVEONE GOLD NiTi files are part of a comprehensive root canal treatment solution: gutta-percha points, paper points, and Thermafil obturators are supplied with the WAVEONE GOLD files. For the first time, special variable-tapered gutta-percha points are molded to fit the root canal shaped with the WAVEONE GOLD files. The WAVEONE GOLD alternating or reciprocating motion is identical to that of the WAVEONE, allowing us to use this new system with the same motor settings.
